Hi, my dudes!
Another Disney dinner night has finally made it’s way to our home and I was super excited to create an inclusive meal around Tangled. This is SUCH a good and uplifting movie encouraging us to live our dreams and do the things that LIGHT us up.
It’s a good one to watch when you are feeling under the weather or you need to add a little bit of magic to your life.
For the menu, I pulled a few recipes from other blogs, but I had some ideas of what I wanted to do.
If you’ve never seen the movie before, there is a horse who REALLY loves apples, so I knew I wanted to create an apple salad as an appetizer. For the “main” course, I found a delicious hazelnut parsnip soup recipe that Gothel actually mentions is Rapunzel’s favorite and for dessert, of course we had to do a cookie skillet because Rapunzel really loves using her cast iron pan as a weapon of choice.
This is what I came up with. Feel free to modify these to fit your dietary needs.

Disneybounding is a way to express your love for a Disney character through fashion. In other words, instead of putting on a costume, you wear normal clothes but put together an outfit that resembles your favorite Disney characters. For this Disney Dinner Night, I bounded as Rapunzel and my husband bounded as Flynn.
But you can be anyone you want! Maximus, Gothel, Pascal, one of the “ruffians” at the Ugly Duckling… the possibilities are endless. 🙂 Click the button above to view some Disneybounding examples and inspiration for Tangled.
